REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PAUSE RIDE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
Return your bike at an official station and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike away from a station, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.
Our tariffs
Up to four bikes can be rented at the same time on one account. Subscriptions and special conditions only apply in Aachen and only for the first bike if several are rented at the same time. You can easily change your tariff in your app’s wallet.
Basic rate
€2,50/30 min
You will automatically be charged the basic rate if you have not booked a subscription.
The maximum charge is €18/24 hours per rental.
Monthly subscription
€33/month
The first 30 minutes per rental are included.
After that the basic rate applies.
Annual subscription
€264/year
The first 30 minutes per rental are included.
After that the basic rate applies.
